Prayer Chain

The prayer chain was organized in 1998 by Janet Turcovic as a group dedicated to help carry out the church’s commitment to intercessory prayer. That remains its focus to this day.

The chain maintains a confidential list of persons who have requested prayers for themselves or for whom requests have been made. This list is continually updated by email, phone and monthly meetings. Requests can be made of the members, or a written request may be put in the collection plate or dropped by the church office. Prayer chain meets in the Junior Warden’s room (across from the main office) on the second Monday of each month (except December) at 4:30 pm. Those submitting requests are asked to provide at least monthly updates. We also ask that, insofar as possible, requests for others be made with their consent. The prayer chain list is distinct from, and complementary to, the general list which appears weekly in the Sunday Bulletin.

The prayer chain welcomes new members.
